Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General So what starting classes?

I'm not playing in the beta or anything, just waiting, but a question to those that are:

For the initial couple you start with, what is a good combination of classes to use?

I don't know how far in the game you need to be to get followers, but I can already sense that while playing (especially early on) I'm going to be saying to myself, "Dang, wish I had a BLANK in my party", or "I bet I could do BLANK if I had a BLANK in my party", or "I wouldn't be dying so badly if I just had a BLANK in my party".

If I just played as I really wanted I'd have some ranger type with a bow and some kind of tank/healer. But I don't know how viable a combination that would be.
