I understand its for TESTING. which is why I mentioned ( repeatedly so ) that my main gripe was that I paid for the game to help test it, and I can't seem to find the time to properly get far into the game and beta test the high end abilities/late game storyline etc. How can I test for balance and bugs end game if I can't get there before we have to start over?
I know what a beta is.
I know some people have went through the game multiple times, but I don't have as open of a schedule, so if I pay 70 bucks to get the game for me and a friend, it'd be nice to be able to not play the same few hours of gameplay over and over for weeks until its released. Sorry if that upsets you. lol
So, will the final save breaking patch go in June 20? I guess I can just aim to start playing then.
Sorry to hear that but again, beta is beta. It's testing and that is it's prime purpose. Sure your progress may be lost, sure you may not have time. But that is not a valid argument to waste time for making old saves work when there are more pressing matters.
Old saves could introduce new bugs that might have nothing to do with new build and that would bring in same false problems and take away from actual fixing.
+more people experience content from start and can report many new things.
If you don't have the time and this annoys you then I can only offer you to wait till 20th.
