I've never really liked the idea of playing a vamp or ww, especially in a game where technically, you're the hero. To me vamp/ww are creatures, not player characters. They are dead or cursed and have no real control over their own minds.
Now if the game was about being a vampire, like Vampire Masquerade (where is the sequel to that?) then being a vamp is what it's all about.
