Are we still talking about a game or your real life story?
The fact you asked this question makes it clear to me that my entire point flew roughly about five miles over your head.
To put it mildly. I think trying to put that much thought into the thought process of an imaginary creature is a little overkill. Comparing the thought process of an imaginary creature to my personal thought process ... well saying Apples and Oranges just doesn't say it well enough. I don't think the two can really be compared.
But whatever. I understand people like it. I never liked it in TES games either, but many do and I'm ok with that. Just makes no sense to me. If I try to put myself into the mindset of a cursed or undead creature, the canon role of the character I'm supposed to be playing gets lost IMO.
