Steam has DRM protection which means you require steam to play the game.
Good old Game version dont require steam to play the game.
Retail version dont require steam to play the game.
It is recommended that you buy the game from
www.GOG.COM to play the DRM free version. I dont like steam. It forces DRM on you even if you don't even need steam to play the game.
I dont think they will release GOG version so you have to play the DRM version on steam.
