So, after downloading the game via the steam client there is no difference between versions (Larian Vault, GOG, Steam)?

There is the "Larian Vault"-version option for DOS in the vault. How will this version work? How is it different?

What version will be updated the fastest or will there be no noticable difference?

Will i be able to download mods from steam workshop and use those mods in a not-steam version of DOS?
