Dmnqwk, to answer your question:

Did the skeleton have resistance to the attack type, reducing the damage?
Was there a level difference between you and the skeleton, reducing the damage?
Was there a level difference between you and the dagger, reducing the damage?
Was your dexterity low, reducing the damage?

All of these are possible within the game system.

Personally? Not disgusting or an insult. Neither I nor my dex-based characters are that excitable, though.
