When in the tutorial dungeon, I set fire to a poison cloud which in turn caused an explosion. The first problem I noticed was that the explosion did not stop, blocking off part of the level (I tried walking through...I died).

The other issue I spotted was that upon loading the quick save I made right before walking through the explosion, the explosion had reverted to the poison cloud.

Hey is this the poison cloud in the narrow hallway where there is a poison surface between two poison clouds?

There are 3 vent in the center of the surface/clouds. These are spewing poison mist or liquid. If you drag a barrel over the vent, it stops the poison and should stop the explosions.

I really dislike that setting fire to poison vent like this causes the infinite explosions but it currently does.

Well luckily its not that difficult to take care of.

Yes it is that bit, although I had already moved an object onto the switch to remove some of the poison. The bit that was blocked off was the chest behind the bottom cloud.

The problem is not restricted to this one area, however. My girlfriend and I have encountered it in more places. One was the caves under the village there was a trap and several barrels. When we set it off it went off normally then a moment later the infinite explosions started. We managed to get around it and when we left and came back it changed to poison.

Then later where there are traps shooting fireballs we encountered the same issue.

And again there was a basement with a poison cloud and lots of barrels keeping us from a chest so we set the cloud on fire and one of the barrels went into infinite explosion mode. It's starting to really affect our progress at this point.
