As far as D&D goes I just prefer the older versions. Just makes more sense to me and is more structured. Could it be improved, sure, but so can 4th edition. But that's just me I really don't need you to agree. I'll live.
I understand how DOS does it as far as classes goes and I'm glad they did. It's a great solution for those that want classes and those that just want to build something from scratch. Kudos to them.
Never had an on-line chat system in a single player game before. Just take some getting used to but as I said I finally figured out how to turn it off. But you did point out a reason for it being there I hadn't thought of, thanks.
