Does anyone know if Divinity: Original Sin would be suitable for persistent worlds a la Neverwinter Nights style? It would be cool, there hasn't been a game suitable for persistent worlds since Neverwinter Nights 2.
I did a quick search and it appears multiplayer is capped at 6 players, but that was from some old posts so I'm not sure if that has changed or it has been announced that the cap would increase. I'm sort of bummed that it's capped at 6, but I'm hoping that since it's a Kickstarter game that's still in development that the cap is only an arbitrary cap and not a fundamental limit of the engine.

More specifically, I'd like to know if the developers intends to have:
- dedicated servers
- custom assets (like user-made models and textures)
- a multiplayer cap above 6 players
