Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Dyed items

I found a white dye and used it on my yellow robes.
It changed colour to white as expected but after restarting my game this afternoon my robes went back to yellow.

Is this a bug ?

It is.

So that's what those things are for. I found some yellow dye but had no idea what it was for.

What does the dye work on anyway?

On armor.
