and you are right about the different D&D versions. It all comes down to taste.


In my experience its all about the group. A good group can use any rule set and have a great time with it. As in the end, D&D (and all P&P-RPG's) are nothing more than cooperative story telling.

Its also human nature to resist change. Never underestimate the power of nostalgia.
