I know this is a crazy idea, but head me out! I'm just gonna throw it out here - have you guys (Larian) ever thought about having a sort-of "open" list of issues you're working on / have on your sight?

I'm raising this because I think a lot of users here posted a lot of issues, and a lot of them still aren't fixed or addressed - and we have no idea if they will be on the release.

I know I would love it if there was an online list of issues currently in the studio's pipeline. Seeing the issues I raised there would certainly reassure me, even if they're under low/minor/trivial priority. I think it's just good to know you're being heard, especially when you don't feel it throughout the development.

Even a simple copy-paste of your current issues into a Google doc would be great.

Heck, you can even have a "community voting" and let players say which issues hurt them the most. I realise this is pushing it, but it would be super cool.

This would be really awesome. For example, many unfulfilled UI improvement requests have been posted on the forums since the alpha, but there's no indication whether Larian's planning to implement any of them through patches etc. They probably don't have any time to spare right now with release around the corner, but it's a great idea.

What they should actually do is use a public bug/feature/suggestion tracking tool, like Mantis, so that we can not only see issues already known, but whether they work on them or not...

I am really shocked so few developers actually use this kind of stuff (or if they do, they are not making it public)

I think Larian does use Mantis.

Makes sense, but they probably have a lot of bugs and correspondence there they wouldn't really want everyone to see. But I think it has an Export feature that could come in handy for this.

It would be great with regards to being community-centric and supporting the coming mod scene.
