I wonder why the 30th became the release day - probably just the very latest they could delay it to. Friday would be best... that sweet feeling of having a few nights/days stretching out before you. Though, maybe sales data indicates sales are higher on a particular day? I don't know. Also, isn't there a thing about games releasing on a Tuesday in the US and on Fridays in The UK? So yeah, release dates are all quite mysterious.
