Hey, I just registered and I have a question.

I bought a few days ago, and I'm out of Aleroth and I've cleaned up the orcs and trolls on my way to get the general to escort the healers. Now, I have a stupid question about something. I went to the farmers house that is just across the bridge, and he offered to let me sleep on the hay in his barn, since I slew the trolls.

Anyway, I went down into his field to where there are a large number of straw bundles (on top of the 'Teleporter of the Human Race'). Well, I remember an in-game infobite that told me how to make a bed out of straw. So, I unrolled one bundle on the ground, and then dragged another bundle on top. It sparkled, and then turned into hay that I could sleep on. All good and well, but I can't figure out how to roll them back up into two seperate bundles that I can carry in my backpack. How do I roll them back up? Can you only use the straw once, then you have to get two new bundles? That would be *really* inconvienent.

Sorry about the stupid question, but sometimes ya just can't figure something out

Once you make a hay bed you can not move it, though it can be used repeatedly. You can make a bed in your inventory, however. Also, there is a portable bed in the house north of the cursed Abbey. If you return to the bridge and go north east, keeping close to the southern bank of the river, you can get to the house without running into many of the undead in the area.

PS there is about a 10 game-day limit on arranging an escort for the healers; after that they will move by themselves and the quest will remain uncompleted in your log. Most quests are not time limited; see Timed Quests (Spoilers) for exceptions.

Oh, man!

I better hop to it, because I have NO idea how long I spent wandering around the outskirts of Aleroth killing stuff I killed all the orcs and cleared out the troll cave, and now my mage is, like, level 11.

Thanks for the heads up

Hope I'm not too late

Even if you can't solve the escort quest = you're not stuck.
