EDIT 7/1/14
Looks like Gamepedia has won. Users have been adding some useful information there while nothing has been updated on Wikia. I don't think it's too soon to crown Gamepedia the wiki victor.

Here's the link:
http://divinity.gamepedia.com/Divinity_Wiki

-----------------------------------

Since the game is new, is there an official wiki that Larian has used for previous games?

The two used previously are:

http://divinity.wikia.com/wiki/Divinity_Wiki

and

http://divinity.gamepedia.com/Divinity_Wiki

Gamepedia is a Curse operated site and is the home to a number of games such as DOTA2. On the other hand, the Wikia site seems to be in a bit of a better state. There's also a reddit thread popup asking for users to help add information to the Wikia page found here (http://www.reddit.com/r/DivinityOriginalSin/comments/29hru6/the_divinity_wiki_needs_information/)

I think it would be wise to pick one so as to not fragment information as we populate it with our findings. Any reason not to go with the Wikia site? I was hoping to begin adding information there this evening.

Personally I always prefer gamepedia, wikia is just obnoxious packed with ads and I generaly don't like their design, also it's somewhat confusing.
That's why I would go with gamepedia.

I've always used Wikia

The gamepedia divinity page you linked to has like 50 pages while the wikia one has like 800

so no reason to switch.... lets stick to the wikia

I'd second that. I'll also note that the Gamepedia site is already starting to be populated with information while the Wikia one hasn't. Looks like Gamepedia is winning. I'll update my top post with that information.

All but a couple are for their older games.

That surely is the case for the Witcher wiki for example. Gamepedia is quite active, while Wikia is basically stalled.
