Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Games crashes

So i just bought this game yesterday on a steam sale because it looked interesting sadly im having a multitude of crashing issues from either cut scenes, saving or entering a new area.
I dont know if its my side or yours but some help on the matter would really help me get back to enjoying the game.

Hello, getting exactly the same problem. I'm crashing at every loading screen except the first one. crashing at game saving also...

I'm runnig it on my lap top with windows 7 32 bit. 4g ram (3,16 usable)
Geforce gt 540M
Porcessor intel core I3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30GHz

any help ? i currently can't enjoy the game...

I have similar problems, I have played some and have managed to get into the town, but there the game now either crashes or gets stuck on the loading screen when trying to move from one area to another.

Odd part is all my friends are playing it with 0 problems at all.

Seems to be the WIn32 problem again. I was so happywhen they fixed the savegame issue in beta and now it's all over again... Crashes on savegame WIn32, intel i5 2.90 ghz, geforce gtx 550 Ti 1 gb, 4 gb RAM. Played Beta on High quality settings.

I think I have my problems solved by lowering the graphics Quality preset from high to medium - if anybody have frequent crashes, i would suggest trying that - Seems to work fine for me.

no idea if it helps but I actually found the crashing issue on my laptop went away when I put audio down from high to low quality. This may not be needed however since the latest patch....
