I'm currently having a big problem with the game, I'll try to list most of what I tried and put my specs in the message. If you have any input on how I can fix this problem and finally play this game I've been waiting for.
Intel I7 950 3.07ghz
12GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD6880 1GB (I have 2 of those in Crossfire)
Catalyst 14.4 drivers (latest non-beta, updated yesterday)
120GB SSD (OS only)
750GB HDD (Game installed on this using Steam)
The problem I encounter right now is that the game makes the temperature of my computer climb up crazy fast (under 20 minutes). After the computer closed by itself yesterday because it overheated during character creation, I started to monitor the temperature of my GPU while playing (using Catalyst). It closed a second time for the same reason later in the evening. I activated the options for VSync and Frame Limit in the game and I reduced some of the options.
It still makes my card jump in a matter of minutes to 95 degrees and climbing higher until it starts to lag and I decide to close the game to make it stop.
Is it a known problem? Is there a solution?
