Hy guys,
I want to know if there are any other code if I have bought a Kickstarter Duo Pack. Now I'm seeing only one code in my Vault page, but I gave my other key for a friend of mine.
We are supposed to use the same code in our games when creating a profile? If so, there are any kind of Code/Serial relation check, any way to make the system confirm if the code is linked to a specific set of keys? Because if not it means that anyone that get his hands in one of these codes will have access to all rewards that are directed to backers only.

You can both use the same kickstarter backer key (there aren't separate personal rewards for each of you), and you can use the key yourself multiple times (if you want to create different profiles to keep a single player game separate from a co-op game, for example).

Thanks, it means my friend can use this code to unlock his backer rewards.
But can you please look if the backer code have some game key link check? If not, it means that if any backer code get loose in the internet, ANYONE, even future buyers of the game will get the rewards of the backers/early access buyers.

There is no online activation for the codes, and they are not linked to specific keys (that would only work for the Steam version, anyway). They mostly only unlock personal kickstarter rewards (message in a bottle, dual dialogue, name a pet), though.

If there are no key checking when redeeming the code in a new profile it means that anyone with one of these codes will get the rewards that it unlock, no matter if it is a real backer/early buyer or anyone with a copy of the game, legitimate or not.
Not good, it make the value of these rewards for us backers decrease, even if no one of them being game advantages. A pity.
Thanks for the information anyways.

How would you prevent that in a DRM free game? And even if you could, with the editor released, how would you prevent someone from just making something functionally equivalent?
Using a kickstarter back code places a 'you rock' message on the main menu. This message would mock anyone using somebody else's code, constantly reminding them that they do not, in fact, rock.

I've purchased 4 or 5 copies of the game at this point, including a physical CE that I'm still waiting on to arrive, but apparently I do not rock.
