ha! I just remembered I never had to fight the robot, I used the shutdown sequence from the manual in Arhu's office
At least you save often enough to cope with these silly mistakes. I had my gf's char randomly teleport into a fight with Rob Zombie outside of town from the graveyard, I swear they added in more bugs than they fixed with release!
