Raedon and ATI do the same thing.
Presumably you meant ATI and AMD (Radeon is the product line, ATI is/was the manufacturer)? In which case, I should point out that ATI is owned by AMD, and has been for several years, now. Having said that, there's no reason you can't run Nvidia GPU's with AMD CPU's, or AMD/ATI GPU's with Intel CPU's.
