They aren't quest items.
But they're unique, you'll find them in every game (but still random stats).

To open north room in Iona's dungeon, click on the candle south from the room:

To enter the room in Verdistis sewers, throw tel pyramid throu the south door (looks like door but you can't open it) and teleport inside.

There is something special in that room (in sewers), but only if your spirit resistance is too low.
