I experienced multiple times today that the mouse pointer get stuck in a specif state. This makes it difficult to see if i can grab items without a problem.

Logging out to main menu is not enough. Restart of the game is required to fix this issue.

Was it anything in particular you were doing when the cursor got stuck?

Did you try holding the middle mouse button (or V) to rotate the camera, to see if that would fix the cursor?

i think its more random.
I just experienced right now when sorting my inventory (moving items to other characters by drag and drop from the inventory to the avatar pictures on the left.) during this activity my mouse pointer changed to a chat bubble. And now it stays this ways. V or middle mouse button has no effect.
