Ah thanks, Solved by the way:
Need a teammate to walk in and press the button, apparently. That IS the correct button, the first character in just can't walk up and press it.
Teleporting out Finishes the quest, but you get no experience. If you look in finished quests, it says "we were bested by Billeh Gahr and paid a hefty price" or something to that effect.
