Is this bugged or something? I've searched the room, there seems to be only one actual "button" in the room, but it cannot be pressed, attacked, telekinetic manipulated, or triggered with a barrel/box dropping on it, without blowing up the room.

The button I'm talking about is in Billeh Gahr's room, a bit in front of the wall decoration with a large Eye on it. It is under the only box-crate in the room.

The Quest is "Another Crazed Mage."

Anyway, help please, I'm stuck at this point, and no switches/buttons outside of this room seem to disable the trapped room.

The trick is in the pressure plate you are standing on. You cant move off it without triggering the explosives. Or, well, that specific character cannot move.

But you dont have a single character, do you?

That switch underneath the box is the only switch.

btw, that trap can be solved with single character... but the games achievements dont admit it but falsely claim i needed my companions! Not true! i did it all myself!!!

Thanks Hiver, I was able to solve it by accident, clicking on the button with another character. Thanks for the answer though.

No probs. Most of these smaller subquests in the game can be solved with applying some stubborness and thinking about it. Feels better too.

This one is much easier with more Perception since then you can see the pressure plate.


The problem i have with it is that i cannot twist the situation and make Billeh Gahr fall into his own trap. Damn it! that so should have been an option.

Are you saying that once one person is trapped on a plate that any of the other party members can just walk in and press the button?

I ended up teleporting the person in the room out, which still set off the trap..

Yes, just remove the one who first stepped into the room from your party and use someone else to explore the place. The switch wasn't terribly hard to find.
