Hello!

Most of the tunes are realy wonderfull, but very often they didnt fit to the situation, IMO.

Is there any way to re-organzie the music? Can i cut out single tunes that i didnt like?

Music is a very important part for me in a video game, and it could break the immersion if i hear the wrong music to the wrong situation.

I feel the same as you. Until now the toolset does not help. Perhaps later, after their vacation?

I am also trying to investigate character soundsets (both pc and monsters). so far nothing.

I realy hope, because its pretty anoying sometimes. In the Bethesda Games (also heavily modable) its enough to place the music files in specific foldes in the music folder, like "City", "Dungeon" or "Exploration".

here they are in an archive. I suspect they are compressed in OGG.

Where you able to look inside the archives? Sometimes its possible to extract the music folder, wich overides the archived ones.

Could you please let me know where you thought the music didn't fit in. I can see if the music effectively is off or that a song is playing that doesn't belong there. I have a suspicion it might be the latter.

I could not. I guessed accordingly to what I remember of the Dragon Knight Saga.

The tavern music sounds ok to me, ambience music appropriateness varies by taste IMO

My friend hates all in game music and plays with personal playlist on

I noticed while going through town that the music fits the location of the camera and not the actual PC's. For example if I zoom in on the characters inside a building it's playing the proper tavern music, but then if I zoom out it changes to the music outside, even though my characters are still in the tavern. Odd, that is.
