If it weren't for the kickstarters you and I probably wouldn't even be playing the game.
Being completely honest, if it were for Steam Early Access I wouldn't have even heard about this game. While I own the other Divinity titles (through Steam), D:OS wasn't even on my radar - and I love turn-based combat games (and RPGs). I simply had not heard about it at all. None of my friends did, actualy, until it showed up one day on Steam's front page banner with a "now in Early Access" tag.
I'm not even a fan of Steam, but I have to give credit where it's due (in my case).
