Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General How to disable the cacophony of NPC talk?

I arrived in the first city and there is so much speaking from the NPCs. I noticed that each NPC repeats his line at every 20-30sec. If there are 3 NPCs talking that means that almost all the time an NPC is speaking, and many times two at the same time. It's very hard to read the dialog when somebody is always talking, its very distracting and annoying.
