is there some other characters like madora and the demon hunter guy who are actually inside the history?

Im afraid to be limited to those 2 as actual ''living'' characters

Unfortunate, at the moment Madora and Jahan are the only options if you want recruits with personality. But on the bright side, Larian HAS stated that one of their post-release goals is to add more fleshed-out companions to the game. Personally, I can't wait to see them.

I mean, I like Jahan and Madora, but at the same time they don't always mesh with the sort of party that I'm trying to put together.

Cain is the best, feel free to ditch Madora for him.
50% to all resistances at level 3, becomes immune to all elements pretty soon... and if you use a shield with Shield skill he's also pretty immune to physical too.

Cain with Fortify scoffs at anything.

Are the allies essential to the gameplay on hard mode or you can make it with 2 heroes using the lone wolf trait?

Why cain gets 50% all resistences at lv 3?? am i missing something?

Still cant dicide wich ranger henchie im getting none of them are otimized in a way i like

Level 5 Man-at-Arms with the talent that gives 10% resist all for every point in man-at-arms.

I hope the new allies are more interesting than the current ones. I, for one, would love to see an Imp or LIZARDMAN.

Especially a LIZARDMAN.

I've wanted to play as a Lizard since the very first Divinity: make it so, Larian!

Also: come on with the racial diversity already.
