Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Death by sheep corpse?

So I found some girls lost lamb. So she asked to have it back. Sure. But it's still in my inventory. So I talked to her again. She want's the sheep corpse. Sure. It's still in my inventory. So finally I try to drag it out of my inventory and onto her. It won't let me drop it on her. So finally I drop it on the ground in front of her. She still doesn't take it. So I pick it up and try to give it to her. ... ... then all the sudden she screams, the girl drops dead next to her dead sheep (apparently I tossed it at her) and the whole market place attacks me. Seriously?

This is the second time I try to do what the dialog asks, but can't. The other time was in the library when the girl said I could borrow books but to bring them back. I read them, but she doesn't take them back, so now I'm walking around with them wondering how I get the books back in the library.

Weird I picked it up and was able to give her in dialog so I assume that is what happens when the quest works properly. I don't know why it didn't work for you and bugged out. I can only say how it worked when i did it and it seemed to trigger everything correctly for me.

When you drag an item onto a person or enemy and drop it it is how you throw things at people, which can do a good amount of damage from what I've seen but I have no idea what the formula is. (It has to be involve weight somewhere. So basically you threw the sheep at her smashing her with it like a large boulder. Kind of a funny picture in a different way.
