Did i do something very wrong? Did he contribute to the story or give any quests?

I think he was part of a small side quest...wait that side quest gave something valuable...what was it again? I think the key spell to troll king cave.

Anyway, you can get the key to troll king even if Frederick is dead. You just have to find the hidden entrance right on top of where you found Frederick injured.

Emm, i got a blood stone and a quest called "Frederick's blood stone" I bet i was supposed to go speak with him about it. Will this quest be completable?

Where do I get the Frederik quest? I just freed him and the imps from the prison and they ran out.

The quest is a buggy one. I gave the imp the courage potion, it proceeded to kill Frederick and wander off but the quest remains unresolved.

I gave the imp the potion but he didnt kill frederik, he just told him he was leaving.
I then used the bloodstone to heal frederik and then he attacked me for wasting a bloodstone.
Then the quest completed.

It seems you have to specifically use the blood stone that you find in Maradino's hidden room.

I had to drop the other blood stones I had in my inventory on the ground, then talked to him about blood stones which gave me Frederick's Blood Stone quest.

Then I retrieved the one in Maradino's room, healed him with it, and was able to finish the quest without him trying to kill me

You don't have to use that specific one. I could heal him with another one.

When I healed him with another one he always ended up attacking me.

Maybe it has something to do with activating his blood stone quest; if you activate the blood stone quest then you can probably use any blood stone on him without him aggroing.

If you don't get the blood stone quest before healing him with one, he probably attacks you

Nevermind, seems to attack me no matter how I end this quest.

Like I said in a previous post, i managed to complete both quests linked to frederick (i.e. : neither of them remained active):

* i didn't give the blood stone to Frederick, so he just stand up and left.
* the imp was in Maradino's lair and i told him to stay hidden, then i gave him the potion of bravery. He left to the place where Frederick was. And when he saw the blood, he thought that his former master was dead, so he just left free.

I found Frederick, then went to the imp, we went back to Frederick to find him dead, the imp ran off, THEN I found the bloodstone. The quest is still active and there does not seem to be any way to fulfill "Frederick's Blood Stone"

Hum. I cannot close this quest. The progression for me went like this; found frederick thought he was a scum but good hearted I am i used one of my bloodstones on him and healed him. I then fuond the imp later; he was scared he had killed frederick and i told him to go back to frederick and the imp vanished and now I can't close it.

Btw unrelated but there is a room with four clicks and I have no clue what the four clicks do (couldn't find the secret they open or if there is a 5th click somehwere).

I found the entrance to Maradino's cave before I found Frederick. I used the blood stone to open a room at the end of time in the homestead. I'm willing to go find another blood stone and use it on him, but when I checked an faq it said that you permanently lose access to one of your Homestead rooms of you do. Did anyone find this to be true? Also, I used a bloodstone to save a demonic looking beast of burden when I first entered Luculla. Do I lose a Homestead room for that as well?

I used blood stones on both and got the same "Star Stone Lightning" and unlocked rooms, so I don't know what the FAQ is talking about. There are also a few spare Star Stones/Blood Stones in the game.

I have covered the different outcomes of these two quests in my walkthrough in a table on page 143. Take a look if you like. The quest 'Slaves and Masters' is on page 142-143 and the quest 'Frederick's Blood Stone' is on page 123 if you like more details. The walkthrough can be found in one of the sticky topics on this sub forum (Walkthrough for Divinity - Original Sin).
