As above also I can strip all his gear etc from the character screen but cannot dismiss him to hire another in the Hall of Heroes.
Is there a key to finding the dead body.

try using the resurrect scroll on the portrait instead of the body.

You can also go to time ends and his/her corpse will come with you.

tried all that but get either target too far choose teleport or when trying to link back in the chain "group too far.
He died fighting the source abomination dark cove. I have covered every square mm but no body get all the enemy bodies are there.
