Game lacks optimization still, I have a monster gaming rig and it works too much.
CPU stress mostly though, the GPU fan is pretty silent after recent patches.
Have you tried deactivating affinity for cores 0 and 1 in the task manager? CPU should be stressed less then because of better multi-core usage.
