I did not think it was possible for the human leader to die. I mean he is a ranger and the orc pretty much ignored him and he stayed full health the whole time.
It was, believe me. First of all, it was big battle - spells, arrows flying around, so everyone took damage. And second, some mountain warriors started to bug out and attacked their own. Probably because warriors were in the line of ranger arrows. And after that some turned hostile on my party. So yeah, a real massacre.
Anyway, I've reloaded the previous save and replayed that long battle again more carefully. It turned out ok.
