Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Crashing During Trade

Whenever I trade with an NPC, my game will crash if I double-click an item from the trade window to put it back into my inventory. I can, however, drag an item back from the trade window into my inventory and it works.

If it helps, this may be because I have a lot of items in my inventory. I did not seem to have this issue at the beginning of the game, but I spent 6+ hours stealing everything in Cyseal that wasn't nailed down, and now my inventory is full of stuff. I can't guarantee that's the reason, though; I may simply have not ever tried to put an item back from the trade window in the beginning of the game.
