Exactly, thank you.

Im sure the devs will do whatever they can to minimize this effect. After all, it is them who know the engine the best.

I didnt mention earlier, that i am running the game at medium quality (low for character models) and with all post processing special effects turned off, without anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering and with the card being set to performance in its options. (yes, all the drivers are the latest ones)

My fps is about 25, btw. Which is normal for my setup.
(but i did set the fps limiter in game options JUST IN CASE too)

As far as i can see, the temperature spike happens specifically during combat.
Which isnt surprising, of course, but i guess it atleast narrows the problem down a bit.

In Beta, i had a regular crash to desktop when i would try to loot stuff left in some burning surface. If i would click really quickly on the items highlighted with Alt the game would immediately and heavily crash. (there are different kinds of CTDs)

So im just guessing that these environmental effects are really tasking and maybe connected to the issue overall. Generally speaking. As a part of the whole combat which adds more of the load on top of all that, of course.

Of course, some cards and some machines will handle this better.
That doesnt mean that the issue is not existing.

If it was only me i would have chalked it down to my old card, (which runs fine otherwise as ive said), but even for her this is a bit too much of a heat spike and of course, im far from being the only one seeing it.
