I can't remember doing anything there. Come to think of it, the same goes for hunter's edge. I'm pretty sure you could just kill everyone in both places and not have it change anything.
Hunter's Edge at least has quests to it, there really doesn't seem to be anything at all to do in Sacred Stone. Just a couple of vendors. I guess you can free the prisoners but that's about it, it's pretty strange.
