My Madora warrior is mostly the first to start in fights - if you delay your turn, you are last, and then immediately first in the second round again. That often makes it much easier to do good combos, like the whirlwind attack, since you can position yourself AND attack (with AP from 2 turns) without the enemy having a chance to move.
