I left the game on normal when I started to play, because that is the default option.
I am now playing on hard, because normal is not challenging enough for me.
Aye, I play on hard as well. I really want it to be more difficult even then. That isn't to say that I don't die from time to time, it is that I don't have those issues where I am going "well... crap, that didn't work, what about this... damn... Let me try this..." Usually one reload and I am going to win.
It isn't because I am brilliant, or some mastermind. I am an average Joe who just knows too much about game mechanics I guess. I chalk it up to having a brutal DM in my early years playing AD&D.
