What?! I've finished the game, and never found that kind of book
I'm halfway into 'chapter 2' (Luculla forest) and so far I've gotten two of these 'Codex of Pestilential Thought' which gives Intelligence +1 and Perception -1. I haven't found books with other combinations, though.
