Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Requirements to level skills?

I have a wizard that I would like to add a skill point to pyrokinetics(from 1 to 2) I have the allotted skill point but I can't seem to assign it to pyrokinetics? Is there something I'm missing?

You need 2 points to raise a skill from 1 to 2. 3 for 2 to 3. Etc.

Mouse over the + button to see the actual requirement. If you have gear that boosts your stats it's possible that you need less points than you thought for a level up.
