Abilties
Assuming a maximum level of 20 (since Larian have said there is enough XP in the game to get to 20 or 21), you get 49 Ability points.
Raising each ability costs points equal to the new level. From 1 to 2 costs 2, from 2 to 3 costs 3.
So, the total points for each level is as follows.

Using this you can do a bit of matchs to plan points.
For example, 49 points is enough to get one ability at rank 5, one at rank 4, three at rank 3, one at rank 2, three at rank 1.
