Delete the graphicsettings.lsx located in your documents folder in the Larian subfolder.
Done. Same issue. It made it to the Larian logo this time, and then CTD.
Prior to your post, I reinstalled, and tried the same basic troubleshooting. I also moved my original larian .plist out to see if some of my video prefs were causing it, but it had the same issue. It also didn't have time to write a new, default .plist at launch.
