Today yes, the patch 20 min ago solved the 'Black Cove' issue. I will spare you the technical mumbojumbo and just say that the following update will allow those savegames to be played, whereas now you are getting this error code instead.

When you say a new patch today, do you mean a second one? I already received one new patch this morning, and it took me from not being able to load my save game at all, to an error code 300, 301 as the others mentioned.

I have the same problem. It is very frustrating.
I saved directly before the Orc Boss, but it was a tough battle and I leveled up so I don't want to revert. That save works. My saves after the Orc Boss all fail with the 300, 301 errors.

I just patched, so I have the latest steam version.

Please update!

It is the same for me as this person. Please fix this soon. We shouldn't have to start from an old saved file, or a new game allover because our saves are being corrupted via patching.

Just be patient... You can trust the developers to do their best to keep players happy ; so the patch will be made available when they have a solution. Knowing they are working on it and that an update in the pipeline is enough.

I apologize if this has already been answered, but is there any information available on when we can expect the upcoming patch for the GOG version of the game? I'm just about to reach this part of the game, I believe, so I'll take a break for now.

New patch just hit and I've applied it.

I'm still getting the crash, after the patch, but now I only get error 300, not 301.

Just tried with the latest updates, error 300 as well

the save be4 my last save works again tho.it did not be4 and thats only like 2 mins behind
so i'm all good again.
