Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Troll King Cave

Hi,

I'm trying to access the Troll Kings Cave, I have Maradino's secret's Files but I don't know where to use it to remove the stone statue inside the cave. The clues mention standing inside a mushroom ring by a ray of light, I'm assuming that is the ray of light outside the cave? Unfortunately I collected all the mushrooms when I first went through this area and so now I have no idea where to stand.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Use/read the secret files directly in front of the mouth of the cave. Since you picked the mushrooms might take a few seconds but its within 10-15meters of the mouth of the cave.

Thanks Teroh that done it, it was the green patch of grass in the middle of a circle in front of the cave. Staying still for a few seconds might have been the trigger as well. Either way the event triggered and I can now progress.
