yes I did... I did not receive anything... is it possible to complete the white witch quest without it?
It doesn't look like a Fire Rune, it's an ice shard. BUT you have to go back to the Summer Lord and tell him you need his help.
Basically if the Earth Elemental and the Air Elemental are still there - you don't have the ice shard. They leave the Forge when you ask for help and the Fire elemental give you the item.
