When playing with a friend, is it possible for one of us to control one of our party member while walking/fighting and the other one of us to control the other?

When in a co op it seems that all I can do is have whoever the party lead is control both of the 2 other party members in both walking and fighting, and we want to split that up. Is that possible?

Any help on this?

There may not be any help: Probably need to submit feedback... (It's a good idea; I had hoped whoever recruited the NPC is the one had control over the NPC).

Or, just go with Lone Wolf - and you can't have NPC's... There are multiple builds on the web that are so overpowered - you can solo the entire game...

Hello!

When you hit escape, there is an option at the top of the menu which says ASSIGN CHARACTERS.
When you click it, you can choose who controls which of the NPCs, and you are free to switch them back and forth for whatever reason.

Your friend can also do the same.
