Ok - I'm in silverglen:

I've freed the white witch; but lady by the lake quest did not close;

I destoryed the totem (because I found a note that said it had a blood stone)

I found a cave but a troll statue is blocking the way (no clue how to pass it; can't interact with it or destroy it)

I found a mine but death knights chased me out (can't harm them); did not find any t. ore in it; did find a book that said i needed some kind of spell to kill the dead knight (no clue where the spell is or how to recognize it; btw the book is too close to the dead knight)

Kill some spiders in a desert like area; no clue why didn't find anything interesting there - but dead spiders include the queen

Found the phantom forest but the imp told me i needed special weapons to proceed and i don't have them and no clue where to get them.

So no clue now how to proceed - and not sure I should know how to proceed at this point...

After your arrival in hilberheim there you need to dig for a key, which can unlock a poisoned area there is the dying "lady by the lake" you need to talk to. I also missed this area totally.


You need a pickaxe to collect tenebrium ore, but you can also find some lying around somewhere in the mine. To progress you need to sneak past the death knights until you reach the temple mentioned in your quest log. There you can find a spell scroll to make death knight vulnerable.


Collect some tenebrium ore for brandon in silverglen (from mine), then you receive the ability to handle tenebrium. You can then forge tenebrium ore into tenebrium bars and enchant you weapons with this. Alternativly you can find some tenebrium weapons in the mine.

Tip: Store all tenebrium stuff execept 1 ore in a random crate and then give it to brandon, this way you have plenty of tenebrium to play with.

Hum. It's the sneak past death knight that has me worried. Where is that key you spoke of - is it near a teleporter? My character has perception 10 but i honestly don't remember seeing any thing about a key (or place to dig). I do remember a locked switch that didn't work that I couldn't figure out so maybe the key is related to that ?

Now to learn how to sneak past ugly knight.

In the very west of the cave in Hiberheim there is a fire area that you can only enter with a key which you need to activate a lever. You can find the key just a few meters on the right in a small basin with blue mushrooms in it. You have to dig it up.


For the sneaking in the mine. Just seperate one char from your group who can cast invisibility. Scout with him the area until you find the second portal. Go back to the group. Leave the mine through the entrance. Teleport yourself to the second portal in the mine. From there it's easy to get to the temple door if you choose the southern passage.

Look at this map. The key is burried at (2) and the lady is at (3).

Yea I found the key before lord's post. I had been in that area so I knew about the lock switch but my perception had not triggered the key (it did when I went back). I did not know the witch was there but gave up trying to find the key because I had no hint of where it could be (I figured it would show up later maybe). Thanks. Now to try to sneak past those dead knight (i did once before - i have no invisible spell but i ahve 2 potions left if they last long enough).

You could craft some more potions...

I tried; not enough of the right kind of mushroom

But that's ok i made it to the second portal so maybe just maybe it will progress forward now; still haven't found any T in the mine (just silver and iron).


Ok now I have T. Just need to find spell.

There is a lot of T north of the second portal. There is also T north of the totem. Both areas are free of death knights.

Btw just how much T do i neeed that stuff is heavy !

Btw I htink the path to the temple is blocked; does anyone have some gun powder ?

You only need one ore for Brandon IIRC. But you can use the rest to make Tenebrium bars to improve your weapons.

You need the password for the door, you can't blow it up. The freed sceleton miners (after you've destroyed the totem) should give you the password.

Sceleton miners ? I never saw that. I'm at the door with a death knight fast on my trail

I did free some goblins (in the mines) but they were so happy with their new freedom they attacked me. I also destroyed a totem in a village (for bloodstone) but there were no imprisoned miners there.

I blew up the dynamite next to the door; it burned for a *long* time but held.

By destroying the necromancer totem in the mines you free alle skeleton workers ... they gather in the western part af the mines. After talking to them you get the password ... look in your log if you have it already. Here is a map of the mines ... go to (H) destroy the barricades at (I) and at (J) is the temple door.

I don't think i saw that totem; maybe i missed it while dodging death knights. Where is this totem - is it near the door ?

I went back to the area with spiders in hope there was a totem down there - i found a cave.

You have to go back to the enterance, and destroy stones bloking way on the left.

Ok thanks. I never realized there was a left; it was mostly just a black blob on my monitor.

Hum. Ok now I just need to get out of this place and then find some blood. I bet I have to join the immaculate and then be able to go into that cave I found earlier to find blood (I went in there but the doors were locked )

What happen if you kill the chicken; do you get another bloodstone ? I had an RPS and the chicken won... but now i'm not sure if i boo boo (I've already progressed beyond that point but wonder if i should bring a chicken back to get another bloodstone) ?
