I was trying to see the White Witch and needed to get past the barrier around her house. A talking mushroom said it would help if I could answer some questions (WHY, why would I need to be quizzed to get help? Anyway).

So I have the answer for the first question, but my sidekick disagrees with me. So I have to RPS to use my answer. I win, give the answer and it's right.

So I have the answer for the second question, but my sidekick disagrees with me. So I have to RPS to use my answer. I win, give the answer and it's right.

So I have the answer for the third question, but my sidekick disagrees with me. So I have to RPS to use my answer. I loss, sidekicks answer is wrong, and now I can't get any help from the mushrooms.

Can someone tell me why I am force to play RPS to give the correct answer? Now the only clue I have is to talk to someone who's name starts with an X and I have no idea where that person is. I couldn't find him in town.

Yes I know I could just save and reload, but I figure I might as well be reading a book if I play that way. But arguing with myself? Just wrong. And to make it even worse I couldn't tell my sidekick "I TOLD YOU SO!".

If you don't want to talk to you mushrooms, just don't talk to them. Or if you hate it so much you can kill them.

Their help is not necessary to progress through the game.

You have to find barrier removal spell

I already cleared that area out and my guy is carrying about 50 scrolls. What was this one called.

I also noted that some dig spots are not letting me dig in them. I see it, I have the shovel, the same guy digs up things all the time ... but some just don't do anything when I click on them.

You need to buy the "secret" map sold by vendors to dig some of the special mounds.

This mound though is at the coordinates posted by the previous poster and you just need perception to see it.
