Unless I am mistaken (if I am my apologies OP), I think he is asking for "split screen" play where two people can sit on the couch and play side by side on a single screen, like how console games tend to do it.
That's a really weird expectation. I can't think of a single PC game that allowed you to split screen on one PC... I mean there is hotseat for people who want to share one computer but... O.o
Yep, but keep in mind this game is huge right now and you are going to have a lot of console players coming in expecting console features. I mean, when ForkTongue comes in and starts asking for feedback on games that attend to controllers, it is a huge sign they hit the mainstream market with sales. My guess is that as soon as the numbers started to come in, Microsoft and Sony started giving them calls to see about setting up for a console release of D:OS.
Few things here.
1) ForkTongue's thread about controllers was created back in December of 2012, but was recently "necro'd". Between your comment above and your participation lately in that thread, I'm guessing you didn't notice that (and it wouldn't be the first time you've made that mistake on this forum).

2) Split-screen support is hardly a console-only feature. Lots of PC games provide it, including Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2, I believe all of the LEGO games (Marvel Heroes, Hobbit, Batman, Harry Potter, Star Wars etc), Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (fun game, glad they're doing a sequel), Trine 2, Kane & Lynch, Dungeon Defenders, Resident Evil, Dungeon Siege 3, lots of racing games, sports games.. seriously, way too many to mention here as a complete list as I'm sure I'd forget some.
